I didn’t expect Grok’s video model to improve this much. Today, when I was generating a video with Seedance 2.0, I found the results weren’t very good. So I tried using the exact same source material and prompt in Grok instead. To my surprise, Grok actually produced better results than Seedance 2.0. I’ve put the prompt and source material in the comments, so if you’re interested, you can give it a try too. The left side shows the video generated by Grok, and the right side shows the video generated by Seedance 2.0.

I'm a bit confused about $XRP. I don't know if I'm the only one who feels this way, but I'd really like to know if anyone else feels the same way. I bought it in 2022 and have held it ever since. While I still believe in it deep down, my hopes are slowly fading. I see some so-called experts coming out to predict prices, and sometimes I start to believe those hype stories. To be honest, I just hope it will one day rise to $10. If it really reaches $10, I'll be overjoyed. But at the same time, I don't know if it will reach $5 this year or next. I'm a long-term holder and don't expect to get rich overnight. I just want to hear the opinions of people who genuinely believe it still has potential and a future. Even if it's only $2 higher than my average purchase price, I'll be very happy. #XRP #Crypto #Ripple

I asked our sound designer Gurwal to make this moment feel like as if a sound recorder on the set would actually be swept away by the flood. As if they wouldn’t be able hold on to the microphone and get the right levels making the sound just barely usable. I wanted it to feel rough, raw and dirty. Initially I thought that this would be loud, but Gurwal suggested instead that the sound should almost dissapear, which I think made the scene way more impactful. I learned a lot by working with Gurwal. Like in this case that less can be more.

Do you see the white dot? Right above the “D”? This is the last frame before the 💥 The compression will increase further by this upload, but if you see it too it would be awesome with a repost: “I see it too! Shout to all the LeBron fanboys that think "The Silencer" is a LeBron original. It's not. He stole it from Nick Van Exel, and in the past, admitted that it was The Quick's celebration. Below is Nick doing "The Silencer" in the damn 90s and LeBron, after doing it, saying "I'm on my Nick Van Exel right now" You mfs can claim this dude is an original all you want, but if you do it around me, I'ma cook you every time. Qwen 3.8 27B feels SO GOOOOOD! Here’s the thing, it’s thinking a lot, but for the first time it may be that the verbose thinking is less of a mistake than a lot of other local models. It’s basically doing a full build, like a model would in a harness, but entirely within its reasoning trajectory. So the final result will be as close as possible to a final output. There’s much less second guessing itself in reasoning than with Qwen 3.6. It’s very confidently peacing this together so it can have the full picture for the output. This might be the play for smaller models. If the completeness of thought can overcome the increase in wall time, I’m pumped, we can always make it run faster! I think this is going to be really exceptional, I will post the output soon 😎

The people who made the OVAs shown from time and time again that they have faith in their viewers that they'll be able to understand the world building that culminated to this point. You can start the other shows prior to this, either before or after this OVA and it will still feel like a proper climax leading up to this. The story beats in this show are pretty good in the sense that anyone can understand it, it's not universally profound but it does a good job in highlighting perspectives of every side and have a glimpse at what happened that lead up to it.

While I have premium I definitely want to do a long post breaking down the main scene from this show that I obsess with. There's so much that I feel could be learned from it. Not just for expansion animators either. There's honestly a LOT that can be learned from how this show directed its expansion scenes that can be applied to even safe for work animations. Obviously yes, the expansion alone is really good. What makes it so good though is just the fact that there's things you pick up on that you likely don't even realize until you re-watch. I'm using this scene as an example as it's not AS good I would say, but it still has a lot going for it. One thing I've always loved from it that I want to use in my own animations someday is that the expansion sort of comes in waves as opposed to one consistent growth. In a way, it makes it feel more natural while also selling how tight the top is getting. It could have been accompanied by showing the knot getting tighter or smaller with each growth. It's a small part of the animation but just that one thing already adds another layer to appreciate. It's not like most expansion scenes where there's very little outside of just "growing" on its own. There's a bunch of little things that subtly improve it without being obnoxious. The first expansion scene has WAY more that I want to talk about honestly. Far more than this one has. It will probably be a really long post now that I think about it...

🎮 Game submissions for the #vibejam can now we browsed at It syncs the game entrants and also their analytics, so you can sort by [ Most played ] There's about 74 entrants now, but most games will be submitted in the final week which it projects will be over 1,000+ but we'll see! This was the idea last year to do to with the Vibe Jam but back then I didn't have AI to make it this easy, and also I didn't ask for screenshots of the games which now we do, I'll now add a similar gallery to the old 2025 page
