A man did that a few years ago in Lawrenceville NJ and it didn’t end well. The water was 2 feet deep. He lost his footing from the rush of water going in the sewer pipe and was sucked in. They found him a mile away. Rest in peace

Sewer and storm drains are Not the same. Raising the manhole lid on a sewer line to drain stormwater will overload the lines and the treatment plant.
