I don’t think that’s Mexico. Sounds like Dominican accent.

That's the Dominican Republic, the cavalcade in Villa Altagracia. The features are clearly those of an average Dominican. It's quite unpleasant for both nations to mix their cultures; each has its own identity.

MEXICO'S SECOND PRESIDENT WAS BLACK AMERICAN 😉. What they don't want you to know about the hidden chapters of Black History that textbooks conveniently skip...In the early 1800s, a proud Black American family—descendants of free and enslaved negro people who had built lives in the young United States—made a daring choice that would echo through the ages. They packed what little they could carry and crossed the border into Mexico, fleeing the chains of American oppression and the looming threat of re-enslavement under harsh new laws. This wasn't just any family. It was the family of a man who would rise to become Mexico's second president, a leader whose blood carried the unbreakable spirit of Black American resilience.Born in the shadow of that migration, Vicente Guerrero grew up knowing the stories his parents whispered at night: the long trek from the cotton fields and plantations of the American South, the nights spent evading patrols, the hope that Mexico offered true freedom for negro people. His father had been a skilled craftsman in the U.S., his mother a woman of strength who taught her children that liberty wasn't given—it was seized. In Mexico, they found a land that welcomed their skills and their fight. Guerrero joined the struggle for Mexican independence, rising through the ranks as a brilliant military strategist and fearless warrior. By 1829, this son of Black American negro migrants stood as President of Mexico—the first Black head of state in North America, decades before anyone else dared dream president, he didn't forget where his family came from. In one bold stroke, he signed the decree that abolished slavery across Mexico, declaring that no man, woman, or child would ever wear chains again on Mexican soil. It was a direct slap to the American system his family had escaped. Texas settlers, many of them slave owners, were furious. They had pushed hard against his rule, but Guerrero stood firm. His presidency was short—only 260 days—but it changed history. He made Mexico a beacon for runaway negro slaves from the U.S., a safe haven where Black families could breathe free. The elites who hated seeing a Black man in power eventually betrayed him. They drove him from office, hunted him down, and executed him in 1831. But his legacy lived on in the blood of his people and in the soil of the nation he helped forge. His family's journey from America to Mexico wasn't just survival—it was revolution. It proved that Black American negro excellence could lead nations, end slavery, and rewrite maps. This is the real Black History they buried: not just chains broken in the U.S., but a Black president born from American negro roots who made Mexico the first place in the Americas to fully outlaw slavery. Share this truth. The ancestors demand it. #RealBlackHistory #VicenteGuerrero #HiddenHistory

No es por hacer menos. Pero hay que estudiar y saber leer e interpretar lo que uno ve. Esto es en la maravillosa República Dominicana. La ignorancia hacer relucir cuando ven que hablan español piensan que es México.
