For decades, they have committed grave injustices and unleashed grotesque violence in an attempt to crush Palestinian resistance (the defence of land, dignity, and life). Now that same violence is being turned on anyone who dares to stand in solidarity with the Palestinian people. But violence has never succeeded in breaking people’s spirit. It only strengthens our love for one another and deepens our resolve. We are more determined than ever. Participants in the Flotilla have shown us what resistance rooted in love and solidarity looks like. We must keep fighting for the world we know is possible.
