Do you understand yet how crazy it is going to get? These drones can synchronize and fly autonomously through almost any vegetation and forrest.

EPFL researchers have built a drone that can walk, hop, and jump into flight with the aid of birdlike legs, greatly expanding the range of potential environments accessible to unmanned aerial vehicles. RAVEN (Robotic Avian-inspired Vehicle for multiple ENvironments), designed based on perching birds like ravens and crows that frequently switch between air and land, the multifunctional robotic legs allow it to take off autonomously in environments previously inaccessible to winged drones. As part of todays training we visited a children’s soft play area. We understand it may appear strange but it’s one of the most complex & challenging environments to refine our skills. Lincolnshire Police #drones #flying #fpv.

🤯 Russian AI-powered drones could autonomously hunt down trains, vehicles, and warehouses — without human operators Ukrainian electronic warfare expert Serhii “Flash” Beskrestnov has warned of this threat. According to him, Russia is already incorporating elements of artificial intelligence into its Molniya, Geran, and Lancet drones. These drones can navigate using images of the terrain, recognize targets, and fly at altitudes as low as 20–40 meters, making them harder to detect by radar. Traditional electronic warfare systems may also prove ineffective against autonomous drones. “You could launch a thousand drones, and they would then autonomously search for targets and attack them. This is a truly terrifying future,” the expert warned. According to Flash, Russians are already offering large sums of money for footage of Shahed drone strikes to improve their navigation and target-recognition algorithms.
