This young man, who was beaten up as though he were a thief, had only requested the Jam Street hawkers who have turned the road into an open market to allow him to pass so that he could attend to an emergency at home. Instead of letting him through, they completely blocked his way. When he stepped out of his car to reason with them, they turned on him and beat him until he ended up in the ICU. So many people are telling this man that he doesn’t have control of his own dog. The way the dog disregards his commands and does what he asks shows that this isn’t going to end well for him. The man argues and says the dog obeys him most of the time. But judging by the interactions he has like this one, he is over confident. Especially with a dog who is aggressive and territorial like this one. I never understood why people want aggressive dogs they can’t control, maybe as a status symbol but this is how owners and innocent people get bit. Should owners have to show proof they can control their dog as part of ownership?
