how is this exploit abuse if im just changing graphic settings that are available in the game? Yes I gain an advantage over a majority of the playerbase but that isnt my problem if the devs have left these issues in the game. Im also for this to be removed asap because idk what else you can change through the console that could give you an even bigger advantage.

theyre not available in the game thats the thing, you cant disable fog, shadows, foliage etc in the game. theyre not even settings listed in the config, this has to be done through methods we werent supposed to have at least you want it removed though, that we can agree on

You can most likely save the changes as a user.cfg file in the main directory to make it permanent. This is one of those things that’s easily abused and will be viewed as cheating by some. But it’s also what allows people with potato PCs to be able to play the game.

I mean they literally are just graphic settings that are changed through commands. Embark just forgot to turn off the option to open the console.

i rather have a little dark then to play in a game that looks like shit. i just raised my gamma on my monitor and it helps so much but still looks good

so many battle dads because of the upswing of cross play games. This was in H1Z1 and other titles like apex etc. It’s not cheating and low key helps PC players who don’t have really high end rigs play the game.

these barely give you an fps boost, if you just want frames then just use DLSS and/or Frame Gen 2x

not noticable in actual raids tbh and im using frame gen aswell. You can get more frames through these commands because there just is less stuff for your pc to render.

You had to use these type of commands on Ark: Survival Evolved in order to even see at all in some places. They would have it literally PITCH black to the point that your screen is literally just black, nothing to see whatsoever lol.
