No sympathy here for them. I was a single mom raising two children, no child support coming in because my ex-husband was a deadbeat, and I was working a full-time job but couldn't make it. I was told I made too much money to qualify for any kind of assistance. I think I was making about $24,000 a year at the time and my rent was $950 a month. I'll never forget the day my mom came to visit me and found no food in my fridge or freezer. She went out and bought me food for the kids. I'll never forget that day. Not ever. 😢 Cry me a river!!!!!
