Dougie just said the memorial lap about to take place behind him , is to commemorate all the women that died in the TT According to records there has only ever been one, a steward April Bolster in 2005 No female competitor has ever been killed

Fact checking whether there have been ANY let alone “quite a few” women competitors that have died in the TT or that was what the parade lap was for. Nope. None of that was accurate. But when your audience are flag-shagging, knuckle draggers that the true is secondary I guess.

Good to see the TT races getting a mention on GB news and not just when there is a tragedy. Do agree with Dougie that the racing is a great spectacle to see.

The lack of correct information on anything apart from football on GB news frustrates me! The details and irrelevant statistics they give about ⚽️is ridiculous but don’t seem to have a lot of interest in anything else! Shame!
