@HistorianUSA1 Heard that they still kind of stink even with the scent glands removed. My mom got sprayed long ago. Was a mess. Could smell it across the neighborhood. Ended up taking a bath in tomato juice.

Easily de-scented at that age. Can be litter box trained as well. Just imagine people coming to your house and seeing your stink kitty (🦨) just casually walking around the house…...😂🤣

@ToscaAusten The young ones spray pretty fast. We fed them at the prison I worked. They would come inside the shack for cakes and treats. It's the young ones that spray. As long as mamma is around, they are ok.

Babies aren't stinky. Quite friendly, really. But mama isn't far. And she has no sense of humor at all.

We had a family of them under our deck. Even my cat got along with them.

Rehabbed them babies for years. Adorable. Fun facts. It’s harder for them to spray with their tail down. Not impossible. Babies spray is not oily so it washes off easier. Still burns your eyes and sinuses. lol but washes off. They spray as a last resort it takes awhile to fill back up.

I once had a pet skunk, named Petal. She would lift her tail so fierce....

I had one as a pet many years ago. You should hear that thumping noise they make on a hardwood floor when they get bigger. Pepe Le Pew was a very cool pet...🦨

I rescued two about the same age in the first clip. They were too short to get over the curb 😂. Mom looked young and frantic so I cornered them, transferred to a box and put them safely out of harms way. However if anyone was wondering. YES they can spray at that size 🦨💨 lol

I’ve been sprayed by a skunk. I was at a party and one of my buddy’s was out front so I ran from the backyard through the side yard to the front of the house and I stepped on something. Naturally I looked back to see what it was and there was a skunk with its tail up. The smell was burnt into my nose for at least 2 weeks.

This was my buddy Ralph when I was 14. My friend had a raccoon named Blossom.

I was sprayed when I was a kid. My parents gave me a tomato soup bath. Never even checked if that’s a thing but I remember it to this day.
