I know it may be scary but as Nigerians, as humans whenever you hear the cry for help, we need to try and safely check to see if we can help or intervene because I know for a fact people around heard the cries of the boys and chose to ignore. If the boys had died or were killed as a result of the abuse and brutality of the so called @PoliceNG @followlasg @UnilagNigeria police, this would turn to another story and also if anybody can identify the policemen they need to be called out and questioned.

Urinating on teenagers? Beating them until they pass out? This isn’t policing; this is a crime against humanity. Alade Police Station officers need to be identified and prosecuted immediately. This is total madness. 🇳🇬 #PoliceReform #StopPoliceBrutality #Lagos

this is exactly how people go missing and they are never found. because why were they being forced to enter that van? nothing implicating was found on them either. there is a large network of organ harvesters and our security personnel are complicit. you don't just know what they are up to.

See as everywhere dark for a fully developed community. No light to even see who is in front of you. That one na one problem and then there comes another problem of police brutality and illegal arrests.

To think that those boys are STUDENTS, makes the matter worst to watch. Nigeria is truly a lawless and a failed state. @PoliceNG shame on you and your men.

You’d rather video than lend your voice as support that’s why they keep doing it, if more than 5 people came out to ask what’s going on the police men would enter their vehicle and drive off but y’all would rather just watch than speak up

A police force that cannot secure the ballot cannot truly grasp what sustainable security means, let alone what it takes to protect the people.

If a bill is moved in the House to adopt #DeathPenalty for police brutality, I will gladly support it through my state representative and senator. What the actual heck is this, that’s why #EndSars protest happened. These mohdafuckas are still out there being cruel to people.

Nigerian police are worse than criminals and bandits. These are complete terrorists masquerading as law enforcement agents. Where in the world does a police force act in this manner? This is beyond pathetic! 😱

I can never have pity on Nigerians. They heard the young men screaming for help and none of them not one person came out to ask what was going on. Not one fucking person. These are the people who get kidnapped then come here to sought pity. From who? Same defeated Nigerians?

If George Floyd was from Nigeria, there wouldn’t have been a Black Lives Matter movement.‼️ it hurt to see what they do to their own citizens that are supposed to be protected, now you’re asking these same people to begin paying tax.‼️‼️‼️‼️

The fact that nobody could speak up show how bad Nigerians are if you see something say something as it is happening tell the police that you have posted the video online not just quietly record I’ve stood up against police brutality twice and I’m proud of it.

"If you have money, you'll enjoy Nigeria" Tell me which other country treats its citizens worse than slaves? Even criminals in other places are never abused like this, let alone innocent people! I go to work sometimes around 1am & never felt unsafe! Nigeria is a horrible place

Alade police station at Shomolu is known for such act of looking for replacements for hardened criminals in Panti. My uncle was almost a victim in 2016. The story is long and I’m not much of a writer, else I would’ve written all that we experienced that period. That station ehnnn

What kind of Tutorial are you doing around 1:00AM midnight 🕛 like you expect police to just allow group of boys patrolling in the streets around midnight with nothing to identify them with. I don’t really understand how you want police to do their job in this country

This is straight-up POLICE TERRORISM in broad daylight—beating innocent teens, pepper-spraying, and URINATING on them like animals? 😡 Alade cops in Shomolu acting like they're filling jail quotas for bribes or worse... Is this the "new Nigeria" under Tinubu's watch, or just another day of corrupt thugs in uniform preying on our youth? Residents recording saved them, but how many get away with this BS daily? #PoliceBrutality #NigeriaCorruption #ShomoluAttack #YouthLivesMatter

This Young Man Reached Out To Me That He And His Friend Were Extorted Of ₦82,000 By Officers Attached To The CPS In Onitsha. According To Him, They Were Travelling From Asaba When The Officers Stopped The Public Bus They Were In, Brought Them Down And Searched Them. He Says The Officers Also Went Through Their Phones But Found Nothing Incriminating, Yet Insisted On Taking Them To Central Police Station (CPS) In Onitsha. He Said That They Were Handcuffed, Forced Into a White Bus And Taken To The Station, Where They Met Several Other Young Men Illegally Detained. According To His Account, The Officers Threatened And Intimidated Them, Accused Them Of Being “Yahoo Boys” And Prevented Them From Calling Their Families To Inform Them Of What Was Happening. He Further Revealed That The Officers Recorded Videos Of Them And Forced Them To Say On Camera That They Were “Yahoo Boys” After Threatening Them. According To Him, The Officers Initially Demanded ₦500,000 For Their Release. After They Pleaded That They Could Not Afford It, He Says The Amount Was Eventually Reduced To ₦80,000, With An Additional ₦2,000 POS Charge. He Said The Officers Took Them Outside The Police Station To a POS Operator, Where They Were Made To Transfer ₦82,000 Before Their Phones Were Returned And They Were Allowed To Leave. One Of The Victims Was Unable To Record Everything That Happened, But He Managed To Capture Parts Of The Incident, Including Some Of The Officers Faces, As Well As Evidence Of The ₦82,000 Transfer Made At The POS.
