We stand with law enforcement. They are doing a life-and-death job enforcing the law, not writing it. They don’t set policy; they carry it out on behalf of the American people. Democrats who encourage mobs, obstruction, or confrontation with federal agents are playing a dangerous game. Standing in the middle of a lawful operation isn’t “activism” it’s reckless, and it puts lives at risk. If you don’t like immigration policy or the outcome of an election, there is a constitutional way to change it: win the next election. You don’t get your way by intimidating officers. You don’t get your way by obstructing justice. And you don’t get your way by turning law enforcement into political targets.

This video shows our deputies conducting a traffic stop when a vehicle speeds past them without following Colorado’s Move Over Law. When deputies, or anyone, are stopped on the side of the road, they’re in harm’s way. Slowing down and moving over isn’t just common sense for keeping people safe, it’s the law. “Our deputies are honored to stand alongside the Colorado State Patrol in remembering Trooper Cody Donahue,” said Douglas County Sheriff Darren Weekly. “Being part of this operation isn’t just about enforcing the law; it’s about protecting the men and women who serve on our roadways every day. When drivers move over and slow down, they help ensure that tragedies like the one that took Trooper Donahue’s life are never repeated. We owe it to him, his family, and every roadside worker to keep safety at the forefront.” The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, in partnership with the Colorado State Patrol, will be conducting extra traffic enforcement in Douglas County on November 26, 2025. A group of young teenagers were hanging outside moving vehicles, recklessly putting their lives and the lives of other road users at risk as if they were acting in a movie. This kind of impunity cannot be tolerated in a country governed by the rule of law. Three vehicles were being driven by drivers who appeared to be under the influence of alcohol. I believe many of these children have been given too much freedom by their parents, to the extent that they think having money places them above the law. I call upon the Inspector General of Police and the Nairobi Traffic Police to investigate this incident thoroughly, impound the vehicles if the law permits, and take appropriate legal action against the drivers and vehicle owners where offences have been committed. Any minors found engaging in such dangerous behaviour should receive appropriate intervention and counselling, while those responsible for endangering them should be held accountable. No one is above the law. Reckless behaviour on our roads must come to an end before innocent lives are lost.

This lady lives out in the country. Her house is down a long gravel dirt road. She said that the residents there have imposed a 10 mph speed limit. This delivery driver coming up behind her, went speeding down the road according to her. So, she is in her golf cart and driving 10 mph to slow him down on his way out. She said it’s a respect issue. Many people said she has no right to do that. She says she owns the easement rights and the road is a private easement and other nigh it’s live down that road as well. Other drivers commented that all her packages in the future would be dropped off at the beginning of the road if it was their route. What do you think? Do you think she has the right to demand these drivers go 10 mph? Or do you think these drivers should stop delivering down that road and all packages should be dropped off at the beginning of it?

Jack Smith: If you talk about the pardons of these people convicted for the violence on January 6th, right? There's all sorts of costs. There's the obvious cost of recidivism. These are people who committed their crimes in the name and in the interest of Donald Trump, and he's returned the favor by pardoning them. That sends one message to them, a message I'm equally concerned about is the message that it sends to law enforcement. Supporting law enforcement should not be a political issue. It should not be a Republican, Democrat, red blue thing.
