The protest is a part of a series of coordinated anti-tourism protests across southern Europe in Mallorca, Venice, Lisbon and elsewhere. Europe's only value is its tourism, and it's the only way they can really stay afloat as they continue to deindustrialize. This is all very, very stupid. They'll protest tourism but not illegal immigration and asylum seekers. Make it make sense.
