The safety and well-being of our learners and educators are of utmost priority. Such acts of violence and intimidation not only undermine the foundation of our education system, but also have the potential to traumatise the entire school community, particularly given that this incident occurred in a primary school in full view of young children and their teachers. We are committed to ensuring that justice is served in this matter. We will not tolerate any acts of violence or intimidation and will take all necessary measures to protect our learners and educators.

Gauteng MEC of Education, please provide update on what have you done about this event at the school. What measures have put in place to prevent this in future. Is there anyone charged?

Lawless country we live in. They know nothing will happen to them. Dockets will go missing. Prosecutors and judges will take brown envelopes. It's a jungle out there.

@Ndoni_ZN Kambe at some point there were people who called Mboro their Pastor, Man of God?🤔🤔. MEC, these people can be identified. Can the dept involve the SAPS. Teachers and pupils were terrorised, threatened and surely are traumatized. We can't allow such in our schools
