I was surprised to learn that the Best Actor award that QingLang actually won may have been at the Cannes Film Festival — so no wonder it was such a big deal to the industry and cemented his status as film Emperor. I came across a post on Weibo saying that someone actually counted, and there are supposedly around 35 intimate scenes so far in the series😳 And we still have two more episodes to go—and if we're lucky, maybe even a special episode🙏 So, let's do the math. 🚛 She was scared by a truck and fell off a bridge where she got stuck for days. Locals alerted us and we managed to save her. 😟 Bridget has been terrified for 2 months. With very poor eyesight she finds human touch very hard. She also avoided all the other dogs. She mostly spent her time alone in corners hiding. ⏰ We had to put in about 100 man hours to build her confidence back up. She had to be as brave as we were patient. 🏡 We’ve seen some signs lately she is coming out of her shell. She moved into the little play house as her own. That was a huge step for her. We also see her tail wagging. ❤️ The biggest surprise this morning was seeing her sharing the bamboo hut with Tofu. He’s the same as her with poor eyesight and a frail old body. They could have chosen anywhere else to spend the night and they normally do so away from all other dogs. But last night they let their guard down and found great comfort in each other. I can explain how proud I am of little Bridget. I look forward to seeing her get more and more relaxed and her relationship with tofu blossom ❤️

Two Little Ones Meeting for the First Time… 🐱🐶❤️ The adorable little gray kitten is sitting quietly in the corner, her big round eyes looking around cautiously. Her fur is soft and silky, her tiny ears standing straight up, and her whole little body seems to be whispering, “This is my space… so please don’t come too close.” She’s still so young, and this is her first time seeing a strange puppy. Then the little Dachshund puppy appears with tiny legs, a round little belly, and bright, curious eyes. Breakthrough Moment💕 You might remember the frightened mum cat and kittens we rescued from inside an old car last weekend. It’s only been a week since they came into our care, but yesterday felt like a really special step forward. Mum is still very nervous, her ears stay flat, her eyes are constantly wide, and she still throws in the odd hiss to remind us she’s not quite sure about humans yet, but yesterday, for the first time, she felt comfortable enough to come over and take food whilst Carolyn sat quietly beside her. For a frightened mum cat, that’s a huge bit of progress. Despite being scared herself, she continues to be an absolutely brilliant mum to her kittens who already seem to love every bit of attention they can get! She’s still learning that she’s safe, but little moments like this are exactly how trust begins ❤️ Sharing our posts really, really helps our vital work #cats
