🚛 She was scared by a truck and fell off a bridge where she got stuck for days. Locals alerted us and we managed to save her. 😟 Bridget has been terrified for 2 months. With very poor eyesight she finds human touch very hard. She also avoided all the other dogs. She mostly spent her time alone in corners hiding. ⏰ We had to put in about 100 man hours to build her confidence back up. She had to be as brave as we were patient. 🏡 We’ve seen some signs lately she is coming out of her shell. She moved into the little play house as her own. That was a huge step for her. We also see her tail wagging. ❤️ The biggest surprise this morning was seeing her sharing the bamboo hut with Tofu. He’s the same as her with poor eyesight and a frail old body. They could have chosen anywhere else to spend the night and they normally do so away from all other dogs. But last night they let their guard down and found great comfort in each other. I can explain how proud I am of little Bridget. I look forward to seeing her get more and more relaxed and her relationship with tofu blossom ❤️

Gia Giudice gave us a lot of insight into herself and her sisters, and how they’ve all navigated life on reality TV and the fame that comes with it. Before I get into what Gia said about each of her sisters, I have to note something I found interesting… Gia shared that she felt she had to step up on RHONJ and be there for her mom while filming, since her mom was left on her own after her dad, Joe Giudice went to prison. Breakthrough Moment💕 You might remember the frightened mum cat and kittens we rescued from inside an old car last weekend. It’s only been a week since they came into our care, but yesterday felt like a really special step forward. Mum is still very nervous, her ears stay flat, her eyes are constantly wide, and she still throws in the odd hiss to remind us she’s not quite sure about humans yet, but yesterday, for the first time, she felt comfortable enough to come over and take food whilst Carolyn sat quietly beside her. For a frightened mum cat, that’s a huge bit of progress. Despite being scared herself, she continues to be an absolutely brilliant mum to her kittens who already seem to love every bit of attention they can get! She’s still learning that she’s safe, but little moments like this are exactly how trust begins ❤️ Sharing our posts really, really helps our vital work #cats

Have you met baby Wamata? Wamata is a 2-year-old little girl who is part elephant and part silly goose. She was rescued by my friends at the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust a year ago, when she was found alone in the bush without her mom or her herd. Now, she is living at the Sheldrick Trust nursery in Nairobi and is surrounded by other orphans who understand the pain and trauma that comes with losing their family. They support each other in life. At the nursery, Wamata will learn how to be an elephant from the older orphans, but also from her human keepers, who watch over her 24/7 and, for the younger babies, sleep next to them every night so they can be bottle fed and comforted when they wake up in the middle of the night. By the time she is between the ages of 8–10, Wamata, like all Sheldrick orphans, will make her way out into the wild — which is her birthright. She will have her own babies in the wild, and if history is any guide, she will do what many former Sheldrick Trust orphans have done and return to introduce her wild-born babies to the men who helped to raise her. Lenamiu ways of handling each other 💕 #ลีน่าหมิว #LenaMiu 🎤: how does it feel with tons of fans in Thailand and also lots of inter fans? 🦋: I feel happy and proud. Proud for both me and Miu, where we’ve held each other’s hands throughout doing this project together. We’re a pair that speaks to each other all the time, how nong (Miu) feels and how I feel. Like is there anywhere we need to adjust and tweak or things we’re comfortable or not comfortable with, we’re always sharing/communicating and it makes working feel at ease. 🎤: as two women are together, is there any bickering/cute arguing (like sulky, whiny or acting like a child kinda thing)? 🦋: being a woman, people might think that… There might be some, just the little things. But like I said, we always communicate with each other and share (thoughts) like ‘I don’t feel comfortable with this here’ nong would tell me, and I’d tell nong – open up and talk to each other. 🎤: like you can share with one another (thoughts and communicate)? 🦋: yes, it’s like two people who are really comfortable with being together, to the point that we’re not afraid of what the other person might think if we were to say something, and because we know we’ve got to work together hand in hand. As we’ve known each other for a long time, we don’t want this relationship to be ruined or broken. 🎤: is there things you feel tensed to say? 🦋: with me being an introvert and not very open (keeping things to herself), there are some things at times that I think ‘hey, would nong think anything of this if I said it?’ But in the end, I feel like the best thing is to say it, better than (keeping it in)…expressing it is better. 🎤: and nong is okay with this? 🦋: yes, nong is okay as she is more expressive than me, whatever is in her mind, she says it right away. This turned into a nightmare at the “happiest place on earth”… 🎢 She’s standing in line at Disney, just trying to enjoy her day. After a long wait, she starts chatting with a group, friendly, normal, nothing out of the ordinary. They ask her to ride with an older man from their group… she agrees. No red flags. Until the ride starts. Out of nowhere, he puts his full hand on her chest. She immediately pushes his hand away and says no, but the moment is already ruined. And when the ride ends? He tries to brush it off like it was an accident. Shaken, she reports it to a Disney employee… And nothing happens. No urgency. No action. No real response. But it doesn’t stop there. Later, while trying to calm down, she’s in another line when two kids start shoving each other, and one of them slams into her hard enough to knock her to the ground. The mother? Doesn’t even look up from her phone. When she tries to defend herself the next time it happens, the mom flips on HER, accusing her of lying, causing a scene, and escalating everything even further. Having to cast and play this role, I was like arrgh, and it was also with P’Lena, making it like omg 😱.
