Idris has said that real Bawl'more dealers would come up to him and start pouring their hearts out and he would just stay in his American accent just to not throw them off.

🇺🇸 One Nation, under Trump, Stronger THAN EVER. Are you Trump Tough? 💪Tough T's Here:

I loved how String kept referring to McNulty as "officer" and not "detective".

I love it when Americans find this out, also Rick Grimes!

Stringer yes. But McNultty had his own thing going on. Don't know too many Americans with his accent.

I legit had no idea they both weren’t Americans the first time I watched it. Not a clue

Stringer’s accent much better than mcnulty’s though, his broke on occasion and just sounded weird

I loved this scene. Excellent 👌

Be real McNulty’s accent is fucking terrible

I love this scene so much

Also her

Loved seeing the reunited in Finding Doory 😂

Tom Hiddleston and Andrew Lincoln too.

Honestly, the British accent is what helped me hate Stringer Bell and separate the character from the actor Idris Elba. Once I heard the British accent, I understood he was acting. Now . . . McNaulty 🤯! I did not know the actor was NOT American.

"Who tf was I chasing?"

The best is when McNulty playing the Baltimore cop posing as the British businessman looking for hookers in season 2

well played, @Ziggys_Duck

Crazy they’re both British and pull off the Baltimore accent so well

Did you ever hear @BenAffleck tell the story of the first time he met @TheOfficialBale in party store for kids in LA? It’s hilarious.. 🤣

I was astonished.

One grew up in Hackney, a very working class area of London. The other went to Eton, the poshest school in Britain, also attended by David Cameron, Boris Johnson….
