And they best hope the dam thing didn't have fleas and gives them the bubonic plague! Every year there are a couple of cases in Colorado of bubonic plague from flea bites from praire dogs.

Hilarious! My daughter is a veterinary technician. She was assigned to give shots to a prairie dog from a local zoo. It bit her thumb clean through! They are cute, but kids should be very careful around them!
