Preliminary investigation revealed that the suspects are members of the Aro Bagger Confraternity. The suspects and the recovered fir£arm are in custody while investigation is ongoing.

The suspects were arrested by operatives attached to DOPS 001 along Toskana Hotel Road, Asaba, on June 12, 2026, while in possession of a pistol. According to the report, the three young men were inside a commercial tricycle (keke), with another individual riding it, and were allegedly robbing pedestrians of their phones along the road. They reportedly attempted to escape when they sighted a police patrol van, but were chased and apprehended by the operatives.

So this guys asked me to skip down from my vehicle for a stop and search..they had guns and their uniforms had no number and no name but want to search my car..I complied because a lot of you would think they are actual police men and if I reacted funny..most of yall will get emotional 🥹 The Nigeria police force should make a video of what their actual uniforms looks like and what and what we should look at for when identifying a real police officer 👮‍♀️ A stop and search should be for a tangible reason 📌 Why is there a stop and search?? These are questions we ask and the officers get triggered 🤦‍♂️
