These two videos come from our ongoing #Memetic Badger project, where we explore ways in which #emergent behavior and inter-agent coordination and collaboration can arise.

The collective learning process is driven by memetics, which is based on the horizontal transfer of knowledge between agents and which we hypothesize, fosters collaborative behavior.

In the simulations, both the environment and the agents run entirely on GPU, allowing 100,000 agents to run at more than 30 simulation steps per second.

In these videos we can see a simulation in which 5,000 agents (in white) try to survive by gathering food (green particles) and grouping up together (coloured lines show inter-agent links).

When agents are grouped, they learn to communicate and leverage the sharing of energy in order to increase their chances of survival. We hope to detect some degree of coordination emerging from interactions. #StayTuned

so the pac men eat the querries and add them to a bigger network?

Is this the steeping stone required to get AI that works as a simulated neural net? Possibly opening the door to intelligent AI?
