These were my concerns this morning, before the second assassination attempt against President Trump. Now, it is imperative that we move Secret Service out from under the Department of Homeland Security and back to the Treasury Department, where they had more focus. Also, it is time to increase resources.

I believe JD Vance said school shootings were a fact of life. Why should anyone feel differently here?

The Secret Service procedures just stopped an individual with a rifle during an advanced search, protecting Trump and keeping anyone from being injured. How is that something to complain about right now? Or is this your way of ensuring the conversation doesn't turn to gun reform? We need proper gun reform. We need to stop supporting political candidates who spread terrible lies, such as claiming migrants are eating people's dogs. And we need to stop the extreme rhetoric being used to build fear and hatred across America all to try and win elections.

The whole thing was staged. Nobody's believing Trump's bullshit anymore.

Maybe trump should stop offending so many people. The shooter could've been black, brown, a woman, a person with disabilities, a goldstar family member, a fat person, an immigrant, or even a democrat. He brings this on himself.
