I think it was fine. Just with the context in the show. The Jesse in the show and the Jesse in the game are a little different. Because of the back and forth Ellie and Jesse had during the episode all the dialogue from the scene in the theatre wouldn’t have made sense to me.

I hated that they wasted a solid 5 minutes with Ellie ceased onto the Scar island, almost getting hanged then just finding another boat and continuing. It felt so unnecessary.
