Every one of these "sovereign citizen" types has always done something stupid in the past that got their license revoked. Then they go on the internet and find the "sovereign citizen" web sites and convince themselves that they can use that to keep driving. Proving that they are indeed stupid.

I'm super libertarian, but we function as a society. Argue that stuff in front of a judge we had one of them go nuts a few years, thinking he was all that and tried to storm the court house armed. He never made it to the door. The jail is literally across the street and cops everywhere. Bam , bam! dead crazy guy and the LEO went home and slept like a baby save the stories for a judge cops just write the citation I had a car hit me the street had high bushes you could not see beyond I was stopped when other car hit me traffic court magistrate before I could barely say anything dropped it down so my insurance would not be hit and lowered a $330.00 fine to $110.00 if I wasted her time, she could have doubled my fine to 660.00... learn when to be quiet is my advise. she did me a solid and I could play outraged all day long because of the bushes and stopped traffic, but as part of a functioning society you take some lumps occasionally the shooting , if anyone cares: nutters gonan nut... but imo make sure to not be the crazy but because if crazy, you lose validity and it hurts the message about freedom and rights overall.

The appropriate response should be: Once back up arrives, I am going to break your window Then I will cut your seat belt and We will drag you out through the window where We will make you lay on the ground while we we put hand cuffs on you and then Arrest you and transport you to a holding cell where you will get one phone call also Your car will be towed to an impound lot where For the recovery fee and days spent in storage you will pay cash before you can drive away but also You will receive a summons to appear in court because You weren't willing to cooperate in a simple traffic stop
