This is the way America used to be. It wasn’t that long ago. The Amish simply have preserved the basic morality that is generally common among followers of Christianity. People have fallen away from god. That is why this type of generosity seems so foreign. Your government doesn’t model this in any way. Because it considers people coming together like this en masse… a threat.

I occasionally go to Amish country to fix their CNC lasers. They don't open much outsiders, but they seem like good people. Also, yes, the Amish have computer controlled CNC lasers with full automation systems. I was surprised, too.

The Amish culture, for the most part, has retained their traditional values, and have not allowed the evils of this world or government corruption into their homes and communities. To an extent, many of their values reflect how our great nation once lived and functioned. Slowly but surely, we’ve allowed the government and the media propaganda to manipulate and influence our way of life and beliefs, and steer us away from those traditional values and principles. I truly respect and commend these people for standing strong in their beliefs and for supporting their neighbors and showing us that their are still good people in this world.

I grew up next to Amish in Michigan we worked with them my whole life never had there been a better group of people they are white and if they build your home plan on it lasting at least 200 years their quality is literally the best on earth especially if they mill all the lumber for the home it will never have any issues they are that good

I live anongst the Amish here in Ohio. They are truly children of God! Incredible abilities to survive, persevere, create, grow food, can, bake, raise HEALTHY children, and live within the framework of God’s word. They are very, very special people. Wow are they good with horses! Kind, noble, and pious.
