@policylaila Laila was brilliant with her calm responses despite being serially interrupted and spoken over by the rude and obnoxious Mick Lynch.

@policylaila How can Farage be out there campaigning in Makerfield, at the same time being too afraid to hold one to one surgeries in Clacton? Doesn't even make any sense.

@policylaila Given the obvious bias of the BBC, it is hardly surprising more and more people are not paying the license fee. People are ditching it in their droves.

@magee_win @policylaila Every @BBCNewsnight obsessed about Farage or Trump - usually with a leftist panel involving @gilliantett or @ayeshahazarika

@policylaila A journalist asking questions; how terrible. This woman says Farage is speaking "for the people", that's ridiculous, he doesn't speak for me or for many others, he speaks for a few. Who is this woman, perhaps a minor politician in London? She pretends to speak for the nation.

@policylaila You are deluded. So it’s safe for him to trot around the country going into all sorts of places and pubs yet he can’t hold a constituency surgery. 😂😂😂😂😂😂

@policylaila Maybe because Nigel is in hiding, for a guy who loves causing riots he is incredibly camera shy these past 6 weeks, why is that?.

@policylaila The BBC is so intent on attacking Farage/Reform, that they give unparalleled promotion and platforming of a mere Reform councillor on a scale never before seen in this country.

@policylaila Nigel Farage as shown on election days is by far the most popular politician right now. of course some don't like him for their own reasons, but voting day doesn't lie. These 'presenters' should be arrested using Starmer's new 'laws' for enticing trouble and telling lies.

@policylaila She is all for spin and not very good at it. In the same minute she talks about Nigel busy meeting people everywhere, campaigning but totally unsafe to run surgeries in Clacton. Oh..the irony!

@stuartpowell @policylaila Well…when the BBC is defunded then we can break up and sell off the entire BBC News network (maybe keep Kuenssberg) to the highest bidder. The rest of BBC things they do well ie Dramas, Pageantry, Naural World probably worth watching and paying for. 👍🏽💪🏽✝️🇬🇧🇳🇿🩵

@policylaila Noddy claimed he was advised by the Speaker's office and Parliament's security team to avoid in-person surgeries over safety. A lie. This was an outright lie, he said that he would resume surgeries "when parliament allows me" A lie. This is all lies, none of this happened.

@policylaila Clearly you don't watch much TV Reform and Farage have had the easiest ride imaginable since Brexit. Even now, there is no coherent explanation on why he was gifted £5 million and how his Clacton house was paid for. Time to get back in your box.

🔥 Explosive Newsnight CLASH: Laila Cunningham vs Fraser Nelson! In a fiery debate over media tactics used against Nigel Farage and his family, Reform UK’s Laila Cunningham lays into Times columnist Fraser Nelson for defending the scrutiny of Farage’s finances and property empire. Fraser claims it is perfectly normal, “has been done for 200 years” by The Times and happens “in every democracy”. A shocked Laila hits back: “They have a 200-year history of doorstepping people’s children who are not politically engaged? Is that what you’re saying?” She keeps pressing him: Is it The Times policy to doorstep children who have nothing to do with politics? Fraser says it is in the public interest to question Farage’s property empire and where the money comes from. Laila tries to specifically pin him down: “Are you saying it’s fine that your newspaper published a young girl’s address who has nothing to do with politics?” Fraser dodges, saying they didn’t publish the address and he doesn’t know her age, but admits they published a picture of the house in a feature exposing the property empire. Laila: “The piece said his daughter lived there. Are you defending that?” Fraser: “Yes!” We got there in the end. Fraser is wrong here. Attack Farage’s finances all you want, that’s fair game. But journalists shouldn’t doorstep or highlight the home of his non-political daughter. Fraser should have held his hands up instead of defending it. The public has real sympathy with Farage on this one.
