We've heard this argument hundreds of times. They don't seem to realize they produce nothing. It's not just a one-off in the US; it's in Europe, South America, and Africa. Anybody in the, they say it's so hot. The problem is when it's not, when it's not hot, it's bad. It's bad. So, I don't want to do that. They say for the most part here is for the most part it's really wonderful. But when it goes bad it's over, you're not recognizable. They call the wife. Please come and inspect to see whether or not this is your husband. He's lying against a tree and the tree has a lot of red on it... Is that ok for everybody?

I've been told that LA is more chill about them. It's not like New Yorkers, it's the people who are in town (the fans). But it's not Bitcoin. An ETF is not Bitcoin. With these centralized projects, you're not getting the core values of Bitcoin, the control, the censorship resistance, the privacy. You're putting it in a centralized wrapper, and if you put Bitcoin in a centralized wrapper, you lose everything that's good about it. It's not Bitcoin. It's just an affinity marketing thing. It's “Hey, you like Bitcoin, go buy my other project." Just like, "Hey you like bitcoin? Go buy my altcoin." It's not the same thing, and I think in many ways it's a step backwards. I don't hate these people, but they certainly shouldn't be celebrated. It's not forwarding our industry if we do treasury strategies, if we do ETFs, we cheer for BlackRock and Cantor. That's a step backwards. It's not something to be cheerful for. It's not a victory, in my opinion. A victory is having more people have direct ownership of real Bitcoin. We now have millions of people who've been onboarded into this fake paper thing that's a claim on a claim on a claim of something that has Bitcoin in the words, but it's not actually Bitcoin. They are never actually holding a wallet like many of us did back in 2012 where somebody sent us that first dollar and you say, "Wow, this is cool. When monks leave their monasteries to walk for peace, it's not only symbolic, it's a warning. They don't seek attention. They don't ask for power. They walk only when the world is out of balance. SNYDER: You can't imagine Trump or Hegseth visiting Kyiv. It's not that it's not going to happen. It's just unimaginable. It's psychically impossible for them. They can't be in a world where people are actually taking real risks for real things. That would be too much for them. They can't be in a place where there is courage. That would be opposed to just manipulating the rest of us with words, which is designed to make them look tough. They'd never take any risk for anything themselves. They believe that all talk of patriotism, democracy is just for show. These are people who fundamentally will just tell you what you want to hear in order to get what they want personally. For them, whole idea of democracy, and even national sovereignty, is all just a joke, right? Just a means to an end. When they're confronted by others for whom democracy or national sovereignty isn't a joke, who would fight for freedom. Not just use words like "fight for freedom," but who would, like Ukraine, do it, when they're confronted and are doing it. Have been doing it for 4 and a half years now, they don't have a way to respond besides scorn, spite, and dismissal. That's the only thing they can do, because they're in a world where those are all words, and it's all just words. When they're confronted with actual human beings, men and women who are actually taking risks, they're helpless. They have to get that topic off the table. They're only comfortable in a world where everybody is venal and hypocritical. Where everybody lies all the time. And so I think that's the fundamental thing: it's just really uncomfortable for them.
