A factory takes raw copper, cuts it, stamps it, folds it and finishes it until the whole roof shines like it belongs on a palace. That’s why people keep asking why they look like gold. Because they do. Only temples and the very rich put this on their houses. Copper isn’t cheap and the work isn’t cheap either. Not gold. Just copper made to look like it.
