Hamas initiated a brutal attack on Israel, anticipating a robust response. They strategically exposed their own people to danger for their own benefit. Subsequently, when Israel responded proportionately, Hamas manipulated media outlets, portraying the reaction as an atrocity to garner support, all part of their premeditated plan. Shortly after the assault, Qatar intervened, ostensibly offering assistance in hostage negotiations and calling for a ceasefire. However, Hamas was aware that Israel would reject these proposals due to the severity of the initial attack. This outcome was anticipated by them. It's noteworthy that throughout this conflict, the Hamas leadership remained safe in Qatar, residing in luxury hotels. Qatar, a key financial supporter, has transferred over $1.8 billion to Hamas, and in 2012, hosted the Hamas party leadership, including Khaled Meshal, who relocated from Syria to Qatar. The true victims in this conflict are the innocent Israeli citizens, subjected to brutality by Hamas, and the Palestinian civilians exploited by their leadership as human shields and pawns. Hamas, backed by Iran, emerges as the primary aggressor, while Qatar, for reasons unknown to me, plays a dual role, engaging with both sides in the conflict. If you are sincere about finding a solution to this matter step #1 has to be the complete annihilation of Hamas. On top of that you have to deal with those who backed them namely Iran. Once that is accomplished, serious talks and actions need to be taken to address this issue that will insure peace in the region for Israel and the Palestinian people.

Life is cheap when it comes to Palestinians. Exterminating and seriously wounding 2% of the population in just over 1 month is perfectly acceptable for EU. But when those children are Israeli then even 1 is unacceptable. Disgusting hypocrisy!
