If we’re ever going to bring prosperity to this country, the establishment needs to ditch its resentful attitude towards wealth creators and adopt a Lee Kuan Yew approach by treating them as partners.
It’s actually much, much worse when factoring the cost of public services as the average taxpayer isn’t necessarily a net contributor. Someone paying £330m a year in tax could equal the net contribution of roughly 100,000–150,000 taxpayers - potentially a city of ~250,000 people.
