Tom Clancy's books are not for everyone but he was prophetic in two of his Jack Ryan novels. "Debt of Honor" has an airliner crashing into the Capitol building, and "Executive Orders" involves a foreign government with secret lab in the US that created an airborne ebola virus weapon using animals and human test subjects. This sounds a lot like where they were headed with this story.

Watched it. Interesting. I wonder how many more are there. Reminds me of the book The Hot Zone. It's about a biolab in Reston VA that had an outbreak of Ebola Reston. Fortunately that strain did not infect humans. Which strain was in those labs? Whatever happened to the cleaning lady?

I got home from work around 5pm and as I pulled into the driveway I noticed the neighbors garage door was opened. She normally never left it open unless she was outside. She lived with her husband who suffered from COPD so I never saw him much. A few days went by and I noticed when I was leaving for errands that her garage door was still open. I was beginning to worry because I started watching the house at night and noticed the lights were never on no matter how dark it was outside or what time it was. I tried calling her son and he said he would check in on her but wouldn’t call her that night since it was late. I don’t think he ever came by because when I got home, again the garage door was still open, it’s connected to the house and anybody could just walk in if they wanted to. I decided to call the police, they came out to do a wellness check on her. They noticed the garage door opened and they walked in. The side door leading to the kitchen from the garage was still unlocked. They kept knocking to see if anybody answered and nobody answered. I called her son again and he spoke to them and told them he was concerned something bad happened and this wasn’t like her. Fearing the worst, they entered the home. They went through every inch of the home but did not find her even in the home. The son ended up filing a missing persons report. She ended up coming back a few days later, it turned out that she went to visit a friend but didn’t say anything to anybody and accidentally left the garage open when she was loading her luggage into the uber. I think it was better for us to be safe than sorry, this could have ended much differently.

So, I have been watching the video for hours. I am pretty sure I see a gun, I see him doing something in the area of the screwdriver was found and I see a recoil, but first, let's break it down, this first video, I think it is clear he is running with a gun, this looks like the barrel to me. Excuse my poor editing, I was trying to give you an area to look at to see the barrel--inevitably, a cultist will take a still from this video where I prematurely circled the area so you know what area to look, and they will claim "NO GUN" you watch. Anyway, I do not care, first part is proving a gun was on that roof and I clearly see it, do you?

In the last 6 weeks two of the best and most loyal friends I have ever had have left this earth. 1st Delta Dawn. She was one of those dogs that you only get once in a lifetime. I found her at a Sonic in Oklahoma in the spring of 2009. She was homeless and hungry but still full of personality. She crossed over the rainbow bridge and left this earth on April 22 , 2024. And it happened to be earth Day. I want yall to know that I’m an advocate for rescue because I live it out and everyday I am blessed with the joy of having these animals in my life. And then some days, like today, I’m so heartbroken to have lost them. To love this big you have to hurt just as big. They are worth it. Shelters all over the country are suffering from over crowdedness so this is my heart song to you. Consider a rescue or fostering or volunteering . You never know what blessing is waiting there for you. 💖🐶Delta Dawn

I lived in the US for a year back in 2003. Matrix Reloaded came out in May, and the hype around it was seriously insane, beyond imagination. In the movie, the main characters are using this super cool phone, and then in a close-up shot, I spotted the 'Samsung' logo right there on it. It felt absolutely mind-blowing and magical. I came back to Korea full of hope that this thing would actually go on sale worldwide. But later I found out it was only released in the US as a super limited edition of just 5,000 units (or so I heard back then). I was hugely disappointed… but eventually, I tracked one down and bought it from a collector. Even now, looking at it, the design is still so damn cool. I took it to a carrier to try using it for real, but they told me it’s a 2G phone and can’t be used anymore. That was another big letdown, I remember it clearly. Do you guys like the Matrix movies too? I’m a total huge fan!

WATCH | I saw these workers cleaning windows on a very tall building called Takura House, at the corner of First Street and Kwame Nkrumah Avenue. At first, they were cleaning windows on the 9th floor, and then they moved down to the 8th floor. I tried speaking to the building security, but they told me to wait for about an hour. When I went back, the workers were still there continuing with the job. I also tried calling the caretaker, but the phone was not being answered. I am concerned about their safety. It looks like they are working at a serious height without proper safety gear, such as safety belts or harnesses. If someone were to slip, it could easily result in a fatal fall. These are people supporting their families, and it is worrying to see them being put at such risk. At the very least, they should be provided with proper safety equipment to protect them in case of accidents.

This group of friends were celebrating a birthday, they had brought heir own cake in which was purchased at a high end bakery in the area. The server said they could use that cake instead of theirs but it would be a $400 cutting fee so they cut it themselves outside, I would do the same, that price is outrageous. There was a time in Hudson, Ohio where we went to celebrate a friend’s birthday. The restaurant was upscale but wasn’t like a 4 star place or anything. When I booked the reservation for 4 people we told them it was for a birthday. I asked them specifically if I was allowed to bring our own cake, our friend has food allergies and I had to get his cake at a specialty place that made a gluten free cake. They said it shouldn’t be an issue. They checked with the manager and the manager said it was ok. After having our dinner we were ready to do the cake. So I went to the car to get it so I could surprise him. At the door I was stopped by the hostess who told me it was against the rules to bring outside food in. I mentioned that I was told by a manager that it would be ok. They asked when I called and I said it was two days ago when they opened at 11am. She said well that was the day shift manager and he wasn’t there. She said we couldn’t bring in outside cake or food but they were happy to sell me one for $100. I said pass and I ended up just giving him the cake outside in the box as a gift so he could enjoy it at home.
