I live in Thailand. Thais are blaming everything and everyone except for the bus driver who stopped on the tracks.... Im not joking. The concept of not stopping on active train tracks seems like common sense to 100 IQ white people.... Id never stop on the train tracks. Pure self survival instinct. But for 80 IQ Thais, this is an extremely foreign concept... Thais do whatever they want and expect those around them to adjust to them.... Like have you ever seen a Thai driver look to his right before entering the road? No. They just enter the road and expect everyone around them to stop. Thais are litearlly blaming the train conductor. We are not the same and never will be.

Laws and regulations are more of a suggestion in Thailand.

Oh my gosh. Are they insane. How many accident must happen till people learn. This is crazy.

They feel some remorse for a few days and back to the same habit, breaking traffic rules as usual.

following traffic rules is not really a Thai thing where I live I don't know any with a drivers license as a foreigner one needs 4 eyes when navigating the roads

Sorry to be that guy lol but a Bayesian read of the situation would suggest that the risk of another horrific accident at this particular crossing (when the base rate of accidents was already extremely low) is now FAR lower due to heightened vigilance and policy responses.

The people crossing like that need to be thrown in jail, the only that will change behavior is fear of punishment

Only when you live in Thailand for some time do you realise that Thai people only worry about what is in a 30 degree arc in front of them. They are oblivious to anything else around, next to or behind them. This is why they hold the record for road deaths.

The train driver shouldve ran on to that car and damaged the car completely. Then show this video as national news. Everyone witnessing this would learn their lesson. INDIA WILL NEVER DEVELOP UNLESS THERE IS PROPER CIVIC SENSE.

I live in Thailand. I always say that they are always in a hurry to get where they re going as quickly as possible so they can spend as long as possible doing absolutely bugger all when they get there.

I’ve lived in Thailand for 11 years. Learning from one’s mistakes (observing, remembering and modifying behaviors) is not a feature of Thai culture.

Towards the end you can see a little cunt on a black moped really thinking hard about about scooting in front of the train.

It's a 3rd World Country so of course they don't learn they don't have the intelligence, I lived in Thailand for 15yrs and there is no fear from them for danger and common sense doesn't exist

yea everybody blamed the bus driver but this is how trains always roll in BKK. streets have priority. that train driver last week was wasted. most cargo goes up river to other depots.

They shud have just elevated that solitary main line when they built the metro (or elevated Hwy) adjacent to it.
