I could bet my life on this, there is nothing special about anyone, we are just exposed to information others aren't fortunate enough to.

I used to meet with CEO's of major corporations (a few of who I became very close friends with) I'd have to ask them very direct questions about their businesses to understand how to "sell them". I'd get really nervous before most meetings. Then I realised they were just as, if not more nervous than me. A title, a position, wealth, it doesn't mean diddly when underneath we're all human beings. 👍❤

I Love. Love. Love this man. There has never been anyone like him. He has been our teacher, our inspiration, he embodies confidence, common sense, integrity, honesty, morals, ethics and class combined with a level of brilliance which propelled him to the White House to become our 44th President for eight glorious years. Barack Obama is a true leader in every sense of the word. He and First Lady, Michelle Obama will help lead us through these perilous times. Stay strong people.🇺🇸

And once you realise the privilege these people have is what propels them and not their intellect, you win because you start seeing the Mediocrity that they try to sell to people at these tables.

How can I like this twice

He got in, and they decided it was time to up the anti on the division and insanity in an attempt to stop someone with even a touch of his character getting into such a position again.

Yeah. I used to be Elon fan boy (still am) until I started listening to him speak, then I got disappointed, you would see him from from the smartest person alive to the most basic, dumb human in one second once he opens his mouth. It turns out, he’s just folk 😂😂😂

He’s right. Mostly. But he’s also the exception to that rule. Obamas way above average intelligence, communication skills, empathy and charisma would have made that “table” automatically exceptional. It was the tables he joined that had people not worthy of that seat.

When I scored my dream job my soon-to-be-former boss (who encouraged me when others didn't) gave me a talk like this. He said I'd be meeting a lot of people with big titles, big offices and even bigger egos and to never let them bully or minimize me. I loved him for that.

So Fing true. I really miss this man.

Life is a mind game! When I was younger, I thought the rich & powerful sh*t didn't stink! Once I began moving in certain circles, I learned that their sh*t definitely stinks 😭 Ppl are ppl is what I came to understand, which helped me in my own business! #businessintelligence

President Obama was a special president

This is so real. Most wealthy people are just as, if not more insecure than the average person. Every engagement is calculated to appear smart. They run and hide from facts and accountability like everyone else. Their self-worth is tied to how others see them.

This is my experience as a journalist. Don't let people make you feel they're better than you.
