🇺🇸🇻🇪 DEMS VOTERS SAY THEY’D PICK MADURO OVER TRUMP: "HE'S A MINORITY, HE'S NOT WHITE" Some young Americans at a protest were asked if they’d trade Trump for Maduro, the guy who turned Venezuela into one of the poorest, most repressed countries on the planet. Their answer? A cheerful yes, because he’s not rich, not white, and sounds revolutionary. What makes this worse it’s the complete ignorance of what Maduro actually is. A socialist strongman who jailed opponents, rigged elections, and crushed free speech while millions starved or fled the country. Young people cheering him on have no clue what socialism actually did to Venezuela. They hear “anti-capitalist” and think that means free health care and college. They don’t see the torture centers, the broken economy, or the fake elections that kept Maduro in power. It was a full display of how disconnected some people are from history, facts, and reality. And the kind of political fraud that helped prop up regimes like his in the first place. Youngs asked about Maduro: "Yeah. I mean, I think Maduro was democratically elected. Probably, yeah. Sure. More than likely, yes, of course. If there's a Maduro out here who's going to bring us to revolution, I will support that movement. I would rather have a bus driver in charge than a billionaire, okay? Let's put it that way. Maduro could come and be our president? Oh, any day. Look, all the check marks are there. He's not white.
