“they laughed” the parallels between luffy and roger are unmatched

Luffy and roger having the same dream was since sabaody. During oden's flashback we got to know that people started calling roger king of the pirates. He didn't want to become one because the title didn't exist before as it does for luffy.

That is one of the reasons why Yamato is part of Luffy’s crew!

And to think that Luffy's dream exists since the post marineford "flashback". We just don't know anything and we think he was screaming "I'll become the pirate king".
