They let Michael Jackson do ANYTHING!!

The whole crew backstage when he did this. I’m sure he didn’t rehearse it and just told them “when I get up there I’m just gonna be free”.

Are we just gonna ignore that upper body strength and skip that conversation altogether?

This is a good time to bring up how strong he is when he’s healthy. He held himself and this fool up mid air untethered on a moving cherry picker.

“What about you?” Lmaoooooooooooo

This was a different era, Kev. There were no harnesses back then. 50+ Tina Turner was tipping around on a similarly raised platform in high heels, and harness-less. Also these Black entertainers came out of Jim Crow subversions of expectations. They were built different.

That’s Joe Jackson’s son… I keep telling people. His middle name was Joseph

Michael was a daredevil. He was always doing stuff like this.

He was ready to risk it all That’s on another level sh**t man

@CochiseWebb They didn’t LET him do anything. He just did it lmao

Uncle Mike was outrageous thank God he didn’t get hurt 🤣🤣🤣

It’s all making sense now…MJ was a wild boy 😭

I mean he’s Michael Jackson and he do whatever the fuck he wants. That’s what makes him so legendary

Nothing about that song required that 😭 One thing for sure, those thousands of people below him, would've done whatever they had to to make sure he didn't touch the floor LOL

He had legit core strength... just wildin' 😂 "out here loose"

Letttttt who was finna stop that man same man who fired Brad on stage mid song via ad libs 😂😂😂

Don’t act like you didn’t see that effortless pull up at the end.

MJ didn’t have a strap. Madonna is chained with a strap .

Have to remember this is the same man who was doing illusions on stage multiple times during some on tour. He literally made himself disappear on stage. Just watch Workin Day & Night footage on the Dangerous Tour and Victory Tour

@insiderassasin I just realized this was the same lift Beyoncé was on during Coachella!

He did not care!! Probably was thinking someone will catch me 😅 and they probably would have!! They were down real bad for Michael 💞

Definitely very strong upper body, shoulders and arms to pull this off in addition to body flexibility. 🔥🔥💯

Tina was doing this mess too -

This is actually crazy and such a liability to let him do that lol

Exactly what the song deserves. He honestly ain't do enough in my opinion.

Can’t do alllattt in no harness!!! Having a ball is what he was doing… while blessing me!

He was “vibing”, as the kids say…just lyrics and vibes

@FunqSir He was living dangerously 😩😩😩🥰

Can we talk about his arm strength tho cause he held on for a long time and pulled himself up like he didnt just do that smooth

"What about youuuu" ☠️☠️💀💀

When you’re King you can do whatever you want!

He living out the childhood he missed growing up. 🥺

@psddluva4evah I wish this man could have been happy.

This proves he had a strong core and arm strength

At least we know he can do pull-ups!
