@Mageba_wav Yea she was cooking. Also this is too many of our experiences. I’ll also add we were taught to pretend like we’re “good” and “ok” because that’s how our parents showed that they were strong. And I don’t think that’s the way to go anymore.

@Mageba_wav A lot of us are raised to be “good/obedient children”, but not fully functional, self-actualized adults. That’s work that’s done either much later in life, or not at all.

Ain’t that’s the point of being an adult they didn’t complain they just got the job done and now you have people learning shit from other people and adopting it by trying to live their lives through other people’s lives parents taught what an adult is not what you as an adult supposed to do and to no surprise it’s just like a kid complaining about the adult choices they’ve made blaming their parents for some shit that don’t got nothing to do with them why blame your parents for something you supposed to mature into take accountability instead of placing blame but sure it’s our parents fault

@Mageba_wav I can honestly say im a 60/70’s child and my parents/adults tried to raise us with love and understanding. A lot of my peers learned and grew, but a lot of folks became 80’s parents. Sorry.
