They Live (1988) Directed by John Carpenter

A John Carpenter great that doesn't get nearly enough credit. One of the best characters I've seen on film, and easily one of the best fist fights ever captured on film. Trust me, just PUT ON THE GLASSES!

I love me a good documentary

Hell Yes!! Watched it in the theater!! My favorite Carpenter movie!!

2 hours of Piper walking places to background music. Then the best street fight ever put on film.

I love this movie . So much that I made a song about it 🤘🏻

@LAfromLINY

@LAfromLINY Highest caliber of dialogue writing in Hollywood 😂

Classic...

Hail to the king, babyyyyyy

@CoachRobynRab 😎

The late, great Rowdy Roddy Piper(🇨🇦).

They could have done an excellent FPS game of this film, but they really missed a trick there.

The master himself John Carpenter

I’m all outta bubble gum..

This movie did not get enough respect when it came out

Listen to the WU

Malisima malisima , sin embargo se camarón de verla y repetirla en la tv...la vi 2 vcs asi la trataba de entenderla y encontrar algo bueno !

This scene and that line are iconic! And this move wasn't just ahead of it's time... it shaped my young, socialist beliefs that I carry through to this day! I don't know what Carpenter was on when he directed this film, but it's by far his best movie; better than The Thing

What a line..what a movie!

Since, the Academy didn’t I will, Roddy here’s your Oscar.

Classic film this, with one of the best fight scenes ever

Omg love Rodney in this & he's my fav wrestler of all tine😍🖤🤗

One of the GOAT.

Wish I knew what brand of sunglasses those are that Roddy Piper is wearing.

Great movie, and a reflection of todays society.

Just watched it other night This movie was a documentary lol

ディストピア

maybe all those mass shooters just discovered sunglasses

The worst film John Carpenter ever made

All this does is remind me of the film Tetris

@Reptile_Hybrid Classic movie 🍿 really opened up my eyes
