The kids are terrified. Their counselors, only a few years older, have the weight of the world on their shoulders as they try to keep them safe. This isn’t okay. It’s heartbreaking. And more than that, it’s a devestating sign of how much antisemitism has been normalized in Europe. This is a reality for so many Jews every day. It’s one non-Jews would all too often prefer to ignore. Are you just going to stay silent while Jewish kids learn that being themselves is too much of a risk?

Residents of Siberia are asking China for help and say they are even ready to learn Chinese In Irkutsk, locals recorded a video address to Putin, complaining about a severe shortage of school places. They asked the Russian authorities to turn to China with a request to finance the construction of a school. It seems they believe it is faster to get help from Beijing than from Moscow. “We are ready to learn the Chinese language, as we consider it truly necessary for us. Active development of cultural ties with China is the only possible path of development for us,” the residents of Irkutsk said in their appeal.

We welcomed them to our Academy last month, giving them a hands-on look at what it takes to wear the badge. From testing impairment goggles to running virtual simulations and responding to real-life scenarios, they got to experience the tools we have to train our officers. It was a fun evening for all of us, and we appreciate the Jaguars taking time to step into our world and learn how we help keep #DUUUVAL safe. Now it’s our turn to cheer them on this fall! 💙🐆

Whenever life has given me an opportunity to learn, I have grabbed it with both hands. 1⃣Back in my IIT Bombay days, I made it a point to learn from my peers- whether it was their problem solving skills or their practical experiences. These learning experiences instilled immense confidence in me. 2⃣Later, when I moved to Japan for my first job as a software engineer, not only did I learn and adapt to the Japanese working culture but I learnt to speak the language as well. This made me confident that I can learn and grow in any environment! 3⃣Having then moved to India, I spent a lot of time researching and learning about crypto which made me realize the potential it holds. It was this learning that gave me the confidence to co-found CoinDCX : India Ka Crypto Coach The journey to learn continues everyday! Learning is accelerated when you have a coach to guide you as well. A full house at the mud bath! Mr Bean, Bombi, Bibi, and Gruff joined Chamboi for his afternoon wallow. Gruff even had a face-to-face moment with the big black rhino! This is Chamboi’s appointed time for a mud bath, but in the spirit of friendship, many of the other orphans often gather in. Best known for rescuing and rehabilitating orphaned elephants and rhinos, we offer a home to any wild animal who has lost their family. We nurture them for as long as they need us, then reintegrate them into a protected habitat, where they can live wild among their own kind. Learn more about our conservation work:
