"They need to inject serious young talent into this group, otherwise it’s going to be nothing but pain for the next two to three years" 😬 Kane Cornes and Nat Edwards discuss what's next for Collingwood on First Up:

@kanecornes @Nat_Edwards So you suggest getting young talent by... Going to the draft... Which means experiencing pain for 2-3 years anyway? At least be honest with your audience Kane, you're not altruistic in your take; you just know 2-3 years of bottom 4 Collingwood drives content for you.

@kanecornes @Nat_Edwards what a nothing statement, excluding the fact that most of those players are under 20 games and playing their first final lol. just kane once again barely disguising his desire to farm interaction off of "collingwood bad" content

@kanecornes @Nat_Edwards Is Kane incapable of seeing the young talent on display at Collingwood. He’s such a freak with ohow he froths iver some teams and despises other teams.

@kanecornes @Nat_Edwards Wait who’s out 🤦🏼‍♂️ Steene Maynard Moore Elliott Perryman Pendlebury Surely it helps the kids out there , kids mentioned have been great maybe burnt out Tackles talk about umpiring incompetence then

@kanecornes @Nat_Edwards Swadling? Anderson? Nick? Long? Steene can play West will get game time Saxena excites me more than Swadling or West. Will be very good. Refresh with a big top 10 pick. Track record: Nick JDG Moore Brown Reid Sidey Pendles Thomas Didak Fraser = ✅️ (Stevo Shaz Freeman = 💩)

@kanecornes @Nat_Edwards Whos going to tell him? The midfields literally cannot defend, its offensive running only.

@kanecornes @Nat_Edwards This from a failed coach who inserted himself into a game of footy and did not get a touch playing against total amateurs!

@kanecornes @Nat_Edwards 5 leaders out… bring Neale in and a top 10 pick. 90 tackles for 2 HTB free kicks also…

@kanecornes @Nat_Edwards Kane, this list made a preliminary final last year. Yes we are going to lose significant talent in the next 2-3 years, but your reporting on this is very one sided. 5 of our best 6 against hawks were under 23. Add Swadling, Anderson, Steene, West, Puncher. We will be ok.

@kanecornes @Nat_Edwards A majority of those kids have less than 10 games experience.

@kanecornes @Nat_Edwards This is why butters said no.

@kanecornes @Nat_Edwards Are they looking at a different list than the rest of us?

@kanecornes @Nat_Edwards It’s a real old group chat see many new youngsters in team tearing it up

@kanecornes @Nat_Edwards Swaddling 32 touches, Ned long 11 tackles 5 score involvements, Anderson 2 goals. Not to mention the 23 year old who's about to be a Brownlow medalist. But yeah no youth

@kanecornes @Nat_Edwards At least they beat west coast. Got to be proud of the boys

@kanecornes @Nat_Edwards Take a look at our last 5 -6 games no young players?

@kanecornes @Nat_Edwards Mate you’ve been wrong about them for years….

@kanecornes @Nat_Edwards Your a fool add Maynard Moore Elliot perryman stein and Lachie Neale to that team and we are a lock for top 4

@kanecornes @Nat_Edwards
