Sometimes I wonder if people understand the show.His status and power as royalty were removed,so he no longer holds the influence he once had.This is compounded by the absence of his grimoire,which further restricted his power. You can’t took something that was innate from birth.

I thought in the conversation when vassago asked him to be his apprentice. They made it sound like. To me that is. He would have the smallest amount of power back.

They didn’t nerf him. The spell was supposed to be a large grand opening to the stars and it wasn’t, stolas was clearly struggling with a spell he once excelled at, and even casting the spell took a lot of stolas.

Satan getting nerfed is just god patching the game to hard mode again, mine's been on the same difficulty since launch if you peek.

Why wasn't Stolas completely stripped of his magical powers? They only restricted them? What the actual fuck? How does that even make sense?

I think by "power" he morely meant "authority". And restricting his magical powers didn't necessarily mean "completely taken away". Just basically restricted his ability to use it. Stolas can still still use his powers. Just not to their full ability.

It makes sense that he can still use magic, I mean, the imps were able to use his spells to go to the human world

Magic is a normal thing that people can have, stolas was stripped of all his royal/bloodline magic but his normal magic is still with him
