It you are going to get married in a church, it's just wise to follow the church's rules - if you can't. Hire a pastor (there are some you are hire) and have a hitch free ceremony

But you can see the effort they put into trying to make it presentable. I understand rules and whatnot but it’s really not that deep.

I lowkey feel she’s in denial or something. Men used to go to battle to win a bride. I’ve seen men be on their best behaviors & appearances when going for interviews or to meet a girl’s parents. Cutting my hair &beard is nothing in order to wed the girl I love in Gods sight!
