My step father had a very large Great Dane(3cm off the record)when we met him. That dog got all of the men in the balls with his wagging tail. I had my own Dane years later. They are fun and quirky dogs, but being so big, don't have a long life span. If you want to take on Great Danes, be prepared to be heart broken, every 7 to 10 years max.
