played ball at gs as well loved watching the kid play and develop over the past few years, he’s a baller. coach hudspeth and his staff are doing a great job at getting gulf shores turned around and producing solid athletes.

I watched some tape and loved his QB’s play too. Saw he signed with VMI. There are some good athletes down there.

Look up Connor Warhurst from Russellville, AL. Another preferred walk-on. RB/S 4 year starter.

Nick, this is JR Gardner. He’s 5’10 175, out of Gulf Shores. He had 931 yards and 19 TDs on 157 carries as a senior and caught 9 passes for 199 yards and a TD. On defense, he made 36 tackles and had an interception. Not one team gave him a scholarship offer.

Coach Saban, please keep an eye on this talented player for next year's recruiting class.

This is JR Gardner, two way player, DB/RB at Gulf Shores High School. 5’11, 185 pounds. The school absolutely loves him and praises his speed. Had over 1000 total yards this season with 36 tackles and a pick.

Makes one wonder why UAB, West Alabama, Troy or others didn’t offer any scholarships. Seems to have the talent.
