I wish that when they close up on Sabo’s smile, a bit of tears roll down his face too. You won’t know if it’s his tears or Luffy’s tears from the scene before. But it will show that Sabo is also an emotional person that puts up a front for his little brother.

I would’ve love that too but i think the reason why they didn’t do that was because he is the older brother, he is trying to stay strong for luffy, which imo is more impactful than having him crying cause it hits harder especially after the scene of him learning about ace’s death, these two contrasted scenes shows how sabo has become more resilient and keeping it together as an older brother should 🥹
