This is the general manager!! also look over my old car please… complained that hardees wants to charge for water because they are going through a lot of cups and the cups cost money When you spend 60 dollars for fast food and now they want to charge you for cups of water because customers have been requesting more water than drinks since everything is so expensive costing the fast food place a lot more money for cups

We have changed the operating model of our electricity and water departments. These functions (repairs) were previously spread across two departments. Since July, all officials responsible for water and electricity are household in dedicated business units. We expect this will further improve on our response to power outages. Zambian households are now enduring electricity cuts of up to 21 hours a day. It is therefore interesting, if not funny, to see Zambians themselves making light of the situation in these videos. In some areas, the situation has been even more extreme, with power available for only one to two hours a day, or none at all for several days. What I fail to understand is why African leaders consistently fail to fix things that are so simple. It is not only Zambia; even Zimbabwe has struggled with this same perennial problem. However, if you go to Egypt or Morocco, they have resolved this issue through massive investments in solar power. Yet we continue to lag behind, trapped in endless excuses. It truly boggles the mind. Still, credit to Zambians for finding humour in their hardship, sometimes laughter is the only light left when the power goes out. ZESCO stands for Zambia Electricity Supply Corporation. It is the state-owned power company responsible for the generation, transmission, distribution, and retail supply of electricity across Zambia.
