When it was time to pay up, the worker just offered him a plate of food instead of the $100 that they originally agreed upon. This is why #AnilMishra deserves vote of #Kharadi and #Wagholi. Even when he was not in power, he was actively working on civic issues through his NGO; not using it as a cover for social parties or photo-ops, but to actually solve problems on the ground. When I asked him why he chose the NGO route, his answer was simple and honest; he was facing repeated police warnings while raising issues as an individual, and registering an NGO was the only way to continue the work legally and consistently. That tells you everything about his intent. People who stand up for the city when they have no authority are the ones who should be trusted when they get it. Think of your vote the way you think of your daughter; you wouldn’t hand her future to just anyone. You would choose someone who will protect it, respect it, and help it grow. Use your vote the same way.

Hank the tank has had a tough life on the streets and if we had been a day or 2 later he wouldn’t have made it with the maggots eating him. Once he was fully recovered it was very hard to find Hank a home. He couldn’t fly abroad, was a very big boy and also slightly older. The odds were stacked against him. He did eventually find a home but it wasn’t meant to be. The owners were incredible and tried everything with my help but Hank just couldn’t fit in with their existing dogs and we all decided it was best he came back. It’s one of those cases where the owners were incredible but Hank is a very specific dog who has lived on the streets and has some trauma in his past. I was thinking about the best solutions for Hank but while he was staying with me I just realized something very timely for him… Id fallen in love with the big goofball myself. He is the kindest big giant you could ever come across and after losing Snoop, Tina, Buster and Derek recently he just felt like the perfect company at home. Hank the Tank is now my dog. After a tough life he is right here he needs to be…home.

They dug around the pipe but they still couldn't get to the child and getting someone slim to enter the shaft proved difficult until 14yr old Cristian volunteered. The firemen were scared of lowering Cristian as they didn't want him to get stuck too but when they were left with no option, they secured him and lowered him face down into the shaft. He held the child, shook his legs, and was drawn up by the firemen with the baby in his hands. What a scene, what manner of bravery is this, I got teary just watching this.
