Want to see more forest mismanagement. This time it's the Alberta government. I recorded this 2 weeks ago when I was up in the Grand Cache area, setting up our hunting camp. Someone in the government thought that a good way to protect the 73 caribous in the area was to roll back cutlines that had been there for 65 years. These cutlines can be used by firefighters to access hot spots. They spent millions basically destroying cut lines by plugging them with cut trees. They even had the nerves to install warning signs. "Uneven terrain ahead". I'll do a whole thread on this issue later.

A group of friends went hiking in the woods. It was a sunny day, you would never have been able to tell it had rained the day before but there was still some mud leftover. One of their friends kept getting stuck in the mud and was beginning to lose their marbles over it. Personally I think the fall was self induced, all they had to do was stay calm and move on but then again we see how they lost their cool. I think they overreacted, what do you think?
