This weekend was one of the best of my life. From the Trophy lift, to my birthday evening, to the incredible parade — every moment felt special. I got to celebrate it all with people who are like family to me, and for that, I’m so grateful. Everything was perfect… until that one sad moment which ruined everything. Our prayers with those who were injured. Still, I’ll hold on to the joy, the love, and the memories we made. YNWA #LFC

This was one of the first songs that was written for the album with Jackson Phillips, who produced a lot of it. At the start, candidly, I'd just write and see what intuitively would come out. I wrote the first verse on my birthday. One of my best friends gave me a painting and it said "Sun behind the sun." I thought that was beautiful, so I based the whole verse around that. We had a few versions of that song in particular and it was missing a part for me. One day, I sat outside and the whole chorus came to me. It became like the conversations that you still have after someone or something has passed. It becomes a form of communicating still. As I get older, it goes all the way back to square one simplicity for me. What do I love? Who do I love? What do I cherish? Who do I cherish? It's that simple for me. This is I Wanted To Stay #ORDERchaosORDER

It was lovely watching these magpies playing with this bark until one of them picked up something that clearly didn’t belong in nature. From a distance, I couldn’t tell what it was, but after they flew off, I went to check and found it was a paper straw. Scenes like this really frustrate me. We all need to do our bit to reduce waste. And yes, I did take the straw to the bin.

This was supposed to be a 5-minute promo for my first international solo exhibition in Dubai. But once the cameras started rolling, Joseph Ruzer saw something more. Every question pulled at another part of the story, moments I hadn’t planned to share, struggles I didn’t think mattered, and the obsession that keeps me chasing light. So we kept filming. What began as a short shoot became Chasing the Light. It is the most personal project I have ever shared. A documentary that dives into the why. Why I risk everything for a shot. Why I keep chasing something just out of reach. And why the journey is always more important than the destination. People see the final image, the exhibition, or the recognition, and they think it is an overnight success. But they never see what it takes. The early mornings, the missed moments, the risks, the failures, and the constant drive to keep going. This film pulls back the curtain on that reality. None of this would exist without Joseph Ruzer and his incredible team. His vision transformed a simple idea into something unforgettable. But it goes beyond that. This film is a piece of everyone who has been part of my journey, friends who filmed me when I had no crew, those who captured photos of me chasing light long before it was a career, and the people who pushed me, supported me, and believed in this vision as much as I did. mc: during wlgyt, a poster with chungseob's back reveal and i ask staff who was that but they didn't answer me. they didn't tell us until the end even we ask who is the actor behind it but no answer, it is bcs it's was a spoiler that needs a tight security? seonho: the director talk to me during our last team dinner that they made something like an album or something "i didn't include chungseob because i was afraid it would be a spoiler," he said. mc: your first appearance was during the closet scene right? and i was like oh? i know that actor is let me find it later but still i didn't recognize you. seonho: back then, it took almost 4 hours each time just to get the makeup and styling done. they had to attach each strand of hair one by one. so we put an incredible amount of time and effort into it and in a way, i was actually happy that people didn't recognize me. mc: and during the time that you asked permission for marriage you made a cute scene like- jungie: abonim~ mc: i heard that there's a lot of adlibs. seonho: it was bcs the director instructed me where to where to walk as other actors need to be seen on camera angles, so ofc the actors need to be on angle and while having their scene i came in while thinking 'i need to be close to my father in law while smiling' and then i started to walk towards them so i did the slapstick to fill in the gaps.. just like we do during rehearsal and the good thing about this is we filmed when IU said the "omonim~" first and i remember it to clearly and do it the same.
