#SEONGHWA about meeting DPRIAN 😭🩶 ⭐️: Yesterday, I finally had time in my schedule.. actually, more than my schedule permitting it, hyungnim had time in his and he also happened to be in LA, so I went to see him. He said he wanted to show me around his studio and somehow everything just lined up… so I became a successful fan! Yesterday was actually the first time I got to meet him and he greeted me really warmly ㅎㅎ When I arrived to the practice room he was blowing bubbles, like this, to welcome me. So it was very ㅎㅎ very fun and heartwarming. He gave me a tour of the studio and ordered pizza for us to share. While we were eating, I asked him a lot of questions about things I was curious about, like music video behind stories and details about songs of his I love. You know the way we interpret a song differs depending on the listener, but I wanted to hear directly from him what kind of feeling he had when creating those songs. I wanted to hear the real stories from the person who made them, so I asked a lot of those kinds of questions. And it was really fascinating because what I had in mind was actually very similar to what hyungnim had intended. So that was very fascinating. He also told me so many kind and encouraging things… it really motivated me a lot, especially in what I’m doing now. So, ever since I came to the U.S. I was hoping I could meet him and get his autograph. I went all over the place trying to find a CD… but wow, everything was sold out! So eventually I was like, “Ah, it can’t be helped, I’ll just go without one.” I really like keeping physical albums from artists. For books too, e-books are great too, but there’s something special about being able to touch and feel a real book or album, you know? But then, just as we were saying goodbye, hyungnim said he had something for me and handed me the album himself. And then he said that he had left the message section empty on purpose because he was like “I wanted to write something after actually meeting you Seonghwa-ssi and seeing how I felt”. So just before I left, he wrote it down and the words were so beautiful. That really stayed with me. I too, when meeting others, used to write the messages in advance and bring them along, but now I feel like… if I ever get the chance again, I’d also like to write something based on my impression after the meeting and give it to them. There’s something really romantic about that. Also, watching him work (know about his artistic process) up close.. wow, it was just… really, really cool. So yeah I had such a happy, unforgettable time. He said he watched a lot of our performances too, and when he talked about the ones he’s seen, it made me so happy. On stage, he come across as super sexy, right? But when he was speaking, he was so humble and just kind… he just genuinely felt like a hyung. He was incredibly sweet and.. ah, am I like that too? ㅎㅎ I really had a good time. What stage he liked best? He said he’s seen my solo stage. I’m not sure if it was from Towards The Light or this current one (Skin), but he said it was really great to see how deeply I immersed myself in the concept. He also mentioned watching our Coachella stage, and he really enjoyed the sword-drawing part too. He shared a lot of really kind and encouraging words. To be honest, I had worried that my visit might feel like a burden or a hassle for him, but it was the opposite. He was so warm and welcoming, and apparently he was actually really curious about me too and really wanted to talk to me. So it ended up being a truly wonderful day. I came back full of inspiration. Of course, our biggest motivation is always ATINY but this became a new kind of motivation for me, a new inspiration.

Denzel Washington’s epic monologue towards the end of Training Day was largely improvised on set. Director Antoine Fuqua was so blown away by his performance, he says he thinks he "forgot to yell cut”. He explains… “That’s Denzel. He was just in his zone. I mean, that was one of those moment...people talk about AI. Those are the moments where you go...it's a great tool. It's gonna be a great tool, I think...but the emotion, and the moment that an actor can bring - you can't predict that. That's something that's just inside of Denzel. And when that came out, I was just like - I hope I got it. I just turned to my operator - who was shaking- I looked over at the guy - I was like, “please tell me you got that.” Because that was the take. That was it. There was no other take - I mean, how do you tell an actor like that, that that wasn't good enough? …He walked over to me, and he just had this look in his eyes. I was like, “you good?” He said, “you good?” I said, “Yeah…” Some of that was in the script, but he flipped it the way he did it. "Putting cases on all you." He kind of added some things in there. And then he just went into a whole other zone with the whole King Kong thing- with Pelican Bay - Denzel started that. That was Denzel. That was him, man. 251027 The Days in Kanagawa #CHANYEOL : AHHH! There’s actually something I want to talk about. Everyone, can I say something? I think now’s a good timing. Something really interesting happened yesterday. Please listen! Yesterday, after I finished my schedules, I got hungry, so I went to the hitsumabushi restaurant I often go to. It’s a place I often go with Kyungsoo. The day before and yesterday, Kyungsoo had his concert in Tokyo, right? By the time I went there, it was already late, so it was just me, my manager, and maybe one more person.. only two or three of us. Kyungsoo didn’t come.. he was probably at the after-party. Then suddenly, three Korean ladies came in. They sat at a table about 3–5 meters away from me and started talking in Korean. I thought, “Ah, they’re Korean,” but suddenly I heard: “Oh, how was today’s concert? How was it?” They were talking about that. I thought maybe they’d gone to see the Oasis concert or something, but then I heard, “Kyungsoo was really amazing today,” and I was like: wait.. they are Kyungsoo fans! I was wearing a hat, and while I was eating, I couldn’t help but listen in to their conversation. They were saying things like, “Today was incredible!” and talking about their bags like, “Did you bring this? Did you pack that?”.. that kind of talk. They were eating and drinking beer, and suddenly they started talking about one of their children. One of them said, “When my child was in elementary school, she didn’t like that I was a fan of Kyungsoo, but once she got to middle school, she said it was okay.” When I heard that, I thought, “Wow… that’s actually really touching.” So I whispered to my manager in Korean, “This would be a great story to share at a concert.” Just then, one of them made eye contact with me. I said, “Good evening.” And she said, "hello" (in korean) and I replied, "Hello, please enjoy your meal" (in korean) Then she said, “Oh, you are also here today?” I said, “I actually have a concert tomorrow too”. She said, “Oh, I didn’t know! I'm sorry!” I said, “It’s okay, it’s okay.” That was the little incident that happened. It was a long story, but thanks for listening. It's amusing right? It feels like EXO-L and EXO are connected in many ways.

By the time I went there, it was already late, so it was just me, my manager, and maybe one more person.. only two or three of us. Kyungsoo didn’t come.. he was probably at the after-party. Then suddenly, three Korean ladies came in. They sat at a table about 3–5 meters away from me and started talking in Korean. I thought, “Ah, they’re Korean,” but suddenly I heard: “Oh, how was today’s concert? How was it?” They were talking about that. I thought maybe they’d gone to see the Oasis concert or something, but then I heard, “Kyungsoo was really amazing today,” and I was like: wait.. they are Kyungsoo fans! I was wearing a hat, and while I was eating, I couldn’t help but listen in to their conversation. They were saying things like, “Today was incredible!” and talking about their bags like, “Did you bring this? Did you pack that?”.. that kind of talk. They were eating and drinking beer, and suddenly they started talking about one of their children. One of them said, “When my child was in elementary school, she didn’t like that I was a fan of Kyungsoo, but once she got to middle school, she said it was okay.” When I heard that, I thought, “Wow… that’s actually really touching.” So I whispered to my manager in Korean, “This would be a great story to share at a concert.” Just then, one of them made eye contact with me. I said, “Good evening.” And she said, "hello" (in korean) and I replied, "Hello, please enjoy your meal" (in korean) Then she said, “Oh, you are also here today?” I said, “I actually have a concert tomorrow too”. She said, “Oh, I didn’t know! I'm sorry!” I said, “It’s okay, it’s okay.” That was the little incident that happened. It was a long story, but thanks for listening. It's amusing right? It feels like EXO-L and EXO are connected in many ways.
