I just gotta say I'm so glad I experienced a couple cruises that didn't have rude, obnoxious people who have no respect for others. It seemed to start to change on our last cruise with Princess (it was the first time we were on Princess). There were a LOT of foreigners. Multi-generational families of Indians. Then there were the other passengers who also seemed to have multi-generational elements. The amount of families not watching/disciplining their kids who were running rampant was unfathomable, foreigners or not. I was shocked as I watched one 4 yr old almost get tossed overboard by a sibling and the parents weren't even paying attention. A bartender stopped it. Everyone complained about these families because of the lack of respect/boundaries with other passengers. This particular ship also closed everything down at 10PM. I'm not even kidding. You couldn't even get coffee until 6AM. Casino? Closed. Somewhere to get food? Closed. Shops? closed. Arcade? Closed. That was the last time we took a cruise and we won't take another.
