For me, the worst experiences was doing work for attorneys..... We had one that was withholding a final payment for the HVAC guy for months, then one night the attorney's AC unit disappeared, it was the middle of summer hahaha

Man, my dad was a plumber, this literally happened when I was a kid in the 80s in baltimore. He took apart their sink/pipes and found the issue, then he was smart enough ask for payment before putting it back together. I guess he knew.... Then the customer said "oh... you fixed it easy, we dont need to pay" and then he left it all in pieces and left the property.

I used to work at autozone, as a commercial sales manager, every mechanic or oil shop that was owned by an Indian or Middle Easterner, did this kind of crap constantly. They were always trying to scam people, return used parts as new, or get half price, soft stuff. It was awful.
